Course Description

This three-day course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the G-Invoicing framework and the intragovernmental transaction lifecycle, from agreement development and order management to performance reporting, reconciliation, and settlement. Through real-world federal scenarios, discussions, and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to improve compliance, strengthen collaboration with trading partners, and effectively support the financial and operational requirements of buy/sell transactions across the federal government.

Learning Objectives

  • Explain the purpose, regulatory drivers, and government-wide requirements for G-Invoicing and its impact on federal intragovernmental transactions
  • Describe the stages of the intragovernmental transaction lifecycle and identify the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders
  • Create and manage General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) agreements and Orders within the G-Invoicing framework
  • Analyze the financial, performance, and reporting implications of reimbursable transactions throughout the lifecycle of an interagency agreement
  • Prepare for performance reporting, settlement activities, and transaction closeout while ensuring compliance with federal financial management requirements
