Student Conduct Policy for Open Enrollment Classes

Students attending BMRA courses are expected to act in a professional manner to other students, instructors, and BMRA staff while attending a course. This includes ensuring that you do not improperly use or present as your own or someone else’s words, thoughts, or data in a class assignment. To best support your own learning, you should complete all graded assignments in this course yourself, without any use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). Please refrain from using AI tools to generate any content (text, video, audio, images, code, etc.) for an assignment or classroom exercise. Passing off any AI-generated content as your own (e.g., cutting and pasting content into written assignments or paraphrasing AI content) constitutes a violation of our Student Conduct Policy. In addition, professional conduct means that you do not engage in activity that provides an unfair or improper advantage in completing a course’s requirements. Further, in courses that require or allow postings in BMRA online forums, online portals, or platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes, professional conduct consists of: (1) not using these systems to damage, disable, overburden, or impair those systems or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of them; (2) not attempting to gain unauthorized access to these systems through hacking, password mining, or any other means; (3) not obtaining or attempting to obtain any materials or information stored on these systems other than those explicitly authorized by BMRA; (4) not scraping or otherwise downloading in bulk any content on these systems, including but not limited to student postings, student information, online textbooks, course materials, trademarks, or logos; (54) not introducing or attempting to introduce viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, corrupted files, malware, spyware, or any other similar software that may damage the operation of another’s computer or property; (6) not posting content that [a] defames, harasses, or threatens others, [b] discusses illegal activities with intent to commit them, [c] infringes another’s intellectual property, [d] is profane, pornographic, obscene, indecent, or unlawful, [e] constitutes advertising or any form of commercial solicitation, [f] constitutes information related to partisan political activities, and/or [g] is intentionally inaccurate or posted with the intent of misleading others. Failure to abide by this policy may result in a student’s dismissal from a course and/or forfeiture or tuition payment(s).

Intellectual Property Policy for Open Enrollment Classes

By registering for or otherwise ordering a BMRA course, you agree and acknowledge that BMRA training materials are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. Therefore, you cannot reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, or publicly display/perform such materials. In addition, you agree not to use the company’s training materials — including but not limited to the concepts and ideas expressed in the training — to create a competing product/service.

Third-Party Learning Elements or Systems Contained in Open Enrollment Classes

BMRA courses contain learning elements and/or make use of systems from third-party vendors. The attendance in or purchase of a course constitutes acceptance of the third-party’s terms and conditions regarding the use of such elements/systems.

Audio and Video Recordings Required as Part of an Open Enrollment Class

By registering for, attending, or ordering a BMRA course, you agree/consent to be video/audio recorded as necessary to complete the course if such recording is part of the course curriculum. Such recording will only be used by BMRA for the purpose of completing the performance requirements of the class you attend.

License Grant to BMRA for Open Enrollment Classes

By submitting or distributing any content while attending a BMRA course — including but not limited to any student postings to BMRA online forums, online portals, or platforms used by it to deliver virtual classes — students hereby grant BMRA a worldwide, nonexclusive, transferable, assignable, sublicensable, fully paid-up, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right and license to host, transfer, display, perform, reproduce, modify, distribute, redistribute, relicense, and otherwise use, make available, and exploit students’ submitted/distributed content in whole, in part, in any form, in any media format, and through any media channels (no known or hereafter developed).

Student Content Disclaimer for Open Enrollment Classes

You (the student) understand that when accessing and engaging with BMRA online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes, you will be exposed to other student content from a variety of sources and that BMRA is not responsible for the accuracy, usefulness, reliability, or intellectual property rights of or relating to such student content. You further understand and acknowledge that you may be exposed to student content that is inaccurate, offensive, defamatory, indecent, or objectionable; and you agree to waive, and hereby do waive, any legal or equitable rights or remedies you have or may have against BMRA with respect thereto. BMRA does not endorse any student content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice provided/submitted by students in the company’s online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by it to deliver virtual classes. BMRA does not have any obligation to monitor any student content or any other student communications submitted or made through BMRA online forums, online portals, or the platforms used by the company to deliver virtual classes. However, BMRA reserves the right to review student content and to exercise its sole discretion to edit or remove, in whole or in part, any student content at any time and for any reason. Without limiting the foregoing, upon receiving notice from a student that specific student content allegedly does not confirm to BMRA’s policies governing student content, BMRA may investigate the allegation and determine in its sole discretion whether to remove the content at issue, which it reserves the right to do at any time and without notice.

Student Marketing Policy for Open Enrollment Classes

By enrolling and/or attending a BMRA course, you (the student) agree to: (1) have your contact information added to the company’s marketing database and (2) receive marketing information from the company. The previous shall apply except as specifically provided otherwise by this policy.

At any time, you may unsubscribe from receiving any company marketing materials or otherwise change the materials you will receive by contacting Marketing@bmra.com. In the event you unsubscribe, you will still receive messages regarding your class attendance and other event-related logistics, such as confirmation notices.

Nondiscrimination Policy for Course Attendees

It is BMRA’s policy to provide training opportunities to its customers and their employees who attend the company’s courses without regard to, and does not discriminate on the basis of:

  • Race
  • National Origin
  • Religion
  • Age
  • Sex
  • Disability
  • Veteran status
  • Any other reason as provided by applicable Federal, state, or local status/regulation

Moreover, BMRA expressly prohibits any form of discriminatory harassment conduct based on a protected characteristic where such conduct creates a hostile environment or where enduring such conduct becomes a condition of continued access to a company’s training program or a training related decision about a course attendee.

BMRA provides individuals with all assistance necessary to address a disability or special learning need in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. BMRA requires notice of at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of class to ensure that any disability or special learning needs are addressed appropriately.
