The National Park Service (NPS) needed several micro-learning courses to explain the process of Land Acquisition. The NPS contracted with BMRA to use their expertise in creating complex regulatory topics into engaging and memorable training experiences.
BMRA facilitated virtual brainstorming sessions with NPS subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine the objectives and content for the micro-learnings. In creating the course documents, BMRA employed a multifaceted approach to learning. These modules used quizzes that challenged and evaluated comprehension in a game-like way. Videos brought concepts to life, while graphics and photos illustrated complex ideas. Each course used stories and case studies that made the application of knowledge more natural and applicable for the learner. BMRA is committed to using multiple methods of delivery to ensure that all learning styles are addressed.
BMRA developed and delivered 30 micro-learning courses in just under one year. These courses are a testament to BMRA’s commitment to educational and instructional design excellence, offering NPS staff the resources to navigate the complexities of land acquisition in the National Park Service.
