Course Description

This three-day, intermediate course will discuss auditors’ legislative requirements and the principles of auditing that exist within the federal government. You will learn types of risk, best methods of mitigation, as well as how to best manage, report and monitor the risk situation. By the end of this course you will have gained federally-based audit standards, methods, and risk evaluation.

  • Create defensible decisions
  • Identify specific language that leads to high-risk and low-risk
  • Describe key components of federal audit reports
  • Explain the responsibilities of the federal audit organization
