This eight-day course addresses general principles related to topics such as contract administration, quality in post-award, managing subcontracts and subcontracting with small businesses. While also discussing the skills and competencies necessary to the acquisition professional. This course focuses on preparing a contracting professional for a career in the contracting field or other functional area.

- Summarize the characteristics of contract payment, files, and funds management during contract
- Recognize when post-award situations require contractor information submission
- Summarize the characteristics of managing changes during contract performance when given a set of procedures, guidelines/information, and agency supplements
- Identify contract closeout reporting requirements as described in the FAR, DFARS, and DFARS PGI
