Course Description

This five-day elective course targets senior Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs) who require deeper insight than the traditional one-day COR Refresher course. You will focus on advanced-level issues for multiple larger contracts of a complex or technical nature. Through this course, you will maintain required Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) as you review COR responsibilities in the evolving contracting world.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify COR responsibilities in planning and submitting contract change documents
  • Describe COR administrative duties from the delegation letter, including variations for complex contracts
  • Assess technical submittals for compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract goals
  • Review Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)/ Performance Assessment Plan (PAP) elements and their strategic role in technical contracts
  • Explain COR duties related to the inspection and acceptance of complex contract deliverables.
  • Understand the need for detailed documentation in technical or complex contracts
